Reckon that’s it. Makes sense on pretty much every level. Ultimately we’re still two stages down on 2019 but I can’t help thinking it’s still much better than the last 3 years with loads of relatively big name, different stuff for people to see throughout the day Likes of Japanese House and Mannequin Pussy (and loads I don’t personally know no doubt) seems to show that they’re trying to offer some niche more culty stuff again and not just one hit popular crap

Hahaha, given the fact the main reason I wanted a proper second stage back for was for choice, forcing me to watch the same stage ALL day from the side would probably be both the prize and punishment I deserve!

Assuming Chevron is where the big tent used to be, R1 is the dance tent. There is still room for one more where the 1 Xtra was post 2019. Would be a proper return to form if they were back to 5 decent stages AND 6 headliners

I think something in between Big Tent and Dance tent would work well on many levels and be squeezed into that spot with minimal loss of camping given they’ve gone full Tier mode on tickets, I wonder if they will further expand out their VIP proposition from that sh*tty lounge thing me and my boomer mates would pay more for expedited arena entry (from road (not campsite) and somewhere to sit down in view of a stage… somehow goes very much against the spirit of Reading but that’s long gone now anyway…So pimp us up! Could squeeze out the comedy tent for its, cost savings and profit center! (Should not give the ‘em any ideas really🤣)

FR headliner would be perfect. Preferably on Gallagher day.

Major studio Loads of movies lose millions every year Record companies lose millions on artists every year They chuck millions at them because if they make it they make huge amounts of money. Loads of movies and songs/ anlbums are not ever even released.

And yet... so many films fail at the box office, TV shows are cancelled after one season and songs disappear without trace Funny how so many classic songs have managed to happen without all this wizardy in the past. Im guessing all the artists you like avoid all this like the plague too, yet you like them, many even are hugely succesful? Hooks etc in songs are nothing new, it's been happening forever, its not some new wizardry thats suddenly been rolled out decades after Stock, Aitken and Waterman produced hit after hit for any old Jabronis...

Not sure where it could fit, unless they put it up in White or similar, unless it’s going where the dance tent is but surely they can’t have a daytime Arcadia going on? Would also mean they’d deffo need another decent sized tent somewhere…

Otherwise they’d need to eat into campsite if they’re going use the same arena footprint. I guess there’s a chance they could fit it where the dance tent is, if they binned the comedy tent moved the arena entrance there elsewhere

Don’t see how they can fit a BIG tent and two main stages on at reading I think a slightly bigger rebranded, properly reprogrammed dance stage may be on the cards, with suitably downscaled acts. I wouldn’t have a huge problem with that but I’m not a massive dance fan…

Yup, 1 or 2, when it’s 4/6 that’s less good news. Paying 300 quid to go to a silent disco is exactly why I’m suggesting VFM is shot to hell
