    Eurythmics are getting inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame this year (no word on if they’ll perform if they do and it’s not just a one off I’d be a big fan of them doing the Sunday teatime slot) as a complete aside has anyone mentioned Frankie Valli and the four seasons? Reckon they’d be ace too.

    Eh? You must be bored to carry this on for this long? Pay freezes, cost of living increases, threats to job security. It’s ok though as zahidf thinks they’re not a good enough reason

    I don’t think it’s a case of it being a minor inconvenience. It’s going to be a major f%%king ball ache for a lot of people. I just think the majority can see the bigger picture and in the grand scheme of things finding alternate methods of transport for a week away is nothing compared to someone potentially losing their job.

    Got my ticket and whilst it might mildly inconvenience me (not driving till Thursday because you know kids and all) so fully anticipating what should have been a reasonably quick journey might take me a bit longer but nothing compared to people getting shafted out of pay and jobs and paying for mortgages and putting food on tables. So yeah up the RMT

    Tickets out for delivery today. Ale is in my shed fridge. New tent had a practice run. Remortgaged the house to pay for diesel for return trip to Liverpool. I’d say I’m just about there.

    i'm saying no as i changed my address at the beginning of May as we're getting an extension built and aren't living in the house at the minute and mine have been dispatched. so you should be ok. i think the only pattern to this is there is no pattern

    Seems Anfield is quite popular with Live nation atm what with Eagles, stones and elton being booked for this summer only thing i'm not sure about is how far along they'd be with the Anfield road extension. it's 5 minute drive from my house so would love it.
