  1. I was on O2 and it was non existent! I tend to spend a bit of time away from my group but was too worried about not finding them again I stuck to them like glue. Excuse to technophobe question but if you insert a 2nd sim and tell the phone to use that Sim I presume this doesn't use your current phone number? Would you just have to get people to add that number into our WhatsApp groups etc?
  2. Sorry, probably a stupid question but what details do you need to get Boardmasters tickets? Im only used to getting Glasto tickets. Is it just name and address? Do you need date of birth or anything else? Trying for day tix on Thursday for the first time.
  3. Techy questions. If I go into work on a Uni campus and use their fast network, is the fact that hundreds of students could also be trying for tickets on the same network a problem? Is this the same as an IP address? Apologies I have no idea about this stuff!
  4. I get that its just kids having a great time, after all it's your festival not ours, I just don't get why you think that entitles you to be disrespectful and disruptive to people camping next to you. Does doing drugs have to go hand in hand with being a twat? I wasn't aware that was a prerequisite. Do you have a link to an article about that. Genuinely interested just in case I decide I want to join a cool gang. There are obviously rules I wasn't aware of so there must be a "how to ..." somewhere?
  5. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B088BW2ZJB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I'm a seasoned camper and I got these last year and are great, really lightweight but work in hard ground. Cheaper and lighter than rock pegs.

    Services

Strensham is the first services on the M5. Always stop there. Could be a good option? About 2.5hrs from Liverpool with a further 1.5hrs to Glasto?
  7. For foot pain, gel insoles are great. I'd also recommend this ankle support wrap. I have trouble with pain in my arches and this is really helpfull. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07ZS95G7K?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
  8. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B09F2HWHYC/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A1RRMWBP45RHYF&psc=1 Loads of pockets! Won't quite pack down into your pocket but does fold up small.
  9. I think you might have to sign up to an account to personalise. I tend to filter put all of the stages I'm unlikely to go to then highlight the stuff I'm interested in. You can use different colours for different priorities if you like. Then I print off each day double sided on a sheet of A4 and take one put with me each day. There are different views (itinerary, clashfinder etc) but tbh it can depend so much on what the weather is like and whether you can he bothered to run around so being able to see what else is on is handy. You might need to use a pc to get the best from it. When you click on a box it should turn green etc. Then it'll save it when you log back in it'll show it all.
  10. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B002WUJC5U/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_5?smid=A17CBUME33H0QH&psc=1 I'd recommend one of these. Fold up in your day bag and you can use them inside tents like Cabaret/Leftfield.
  11. Pendulum before Beyoncé in 2011 was my favourite, but The XX also great subs.
  12. We've upgraded in recent years from wet wipe washes to a collapsible bowl, shower gel and a flannel and it's so much better. The water in our water containers is usually warm enough the next day without even having to boil a kettle - certainly wakes you up! We also have one of those portable solar shower bag things incase any of the girls want to wash their hair (never at the damn taps, so annoying when your just waiting to fill your water bottle!)
  13. We normally go in as the gate opens on Wednesday and camp in Rivermead but we're planning to arrive mid morning Wednesday instead so that might be too full (4 tents). We'll probably end up somewhere in Bushy instead as we come in through PGD. That side of the site is a great camping spot, it's not that far from anywhere really and if you're going to the SEC then with no crowds, the slow bimble back in the early hours won't take any time at all.
  14. Thanks Both, that's really helpfull, and logical! 🙂 it'll be either A or D so that side of the site.
  15. Thanks Neil, yes I understand that it's important to have them in place when it's busy, when the gates open it would be a nightmare. I was just wondering if later in the morning when the crowd had died down a bit whether or not they removed them.
