  1. Yeah, its a difficult one. I`d lost count of the number of punters who would bring their cars to the garage to have a job done..and bring it back a week later complaining that something wasn`t right--but had nothing to do with the original problem.

With yours--- if by doing his job--he has knacked something up..you would think he`d have to put it right.

But-- its not fair if it was already goosed and by simply doing his job correctly has made a problem worse. Very grey area.

If he had known whilst he was doing it--he should have pointed out that by going any further, there would be problems, therefore giving you the option of taking action.

Surely--he would know by leaving it... you would soon find out and go brayin on his door..esp if you hadn`t coughed up any brass.

I not sure what the legals are..is he an affiliated worker or just a Job and Knock bloke?

First thing would be to speak to him and see what his attitude/reaction is and take it from there.

Maybe you should have got Owen in from Correr--but he has got a lot on with Devs and The Kabin..and Eileen of course ;)

    Good Luck

  2. Hiya  I have a dilemma...I had the taps changed on my bathroom sink a week or so ago and ever since the drain from the sink has been dripping into the kitchen light fitting. I noticed this when it started smoking/sparking!

The sink was always a bit wobbly (as are most things in my house!) but it wasn't dripping out the drain.

I now have to get an electrician to sort the electrics as I don't want my house catching on fire and need a kitchen light obviously.

So who's fault is this? Who pays for what? I haven't paid the plumber yet but he fixed the drip yesterday. I haven't got the electrician out yet so have no kitchen light.

The plumber reckons anyone can see that the sink is wobbly so it's our fault for havibg a wobbly sink.

I think that if he noticed it was a wobbly sink:

    a) why didn't he mention this before?

b ) why didn't he take extra care as when replacing taps there must be a certain amount of pulling/pushing about and as a matter or course he should have checked it was all fine when he was finished?

He wants his money, I need an electrican so what to do?!

    Any help/advice appreciated!

  3. The dog I'm walking at the moment for my nextdoor neighbours- Kia, is adorable. She's so obedient aswell, and old. If you're in a park with a dog and another dog walks past most dogs go absolutely skits, but she doesn't. Although the other week a huge great dane went up to her and she gave it a little growl but that was it.

Wish I could have a dog like that.

  4. You know you gotta give up the smokes, blo*dy hell it's hard tho! I haven't touched one for four n half years now and still dream of it! :P I wake up sometimes in a panic thinking I've smoked one :P

I went to the 'smoking nurse' at the local surgery and she gave me patches and an inhalator - looks like a tampon and you do look like a bit of t*t down the pub but you get a goo0d rush off it :P and it worked for me. Best advice I can give, is, don't think you can even touch one, you'll be straight back on it.

    Best of luck :P

  5. why the hell do we even need a government? all they do is spend our money, force fear into our hearts and minds to control us, confuse us, them, buy weapons, give weapons then complain when they use them against us. Politics?! Bolitics.
