  1. Bess is 100% playing Green Man (and that Co-op on the Portland Rd is the one from the song).
  2. Just came on here to post pretty much the same thing. Straight onto the 'must see' list for me.
  3. Very good question. I would have thought Perfume Genius will be one (given he was due to headline the Thursday on the Woods in 2020). Magnetic Fields would seem quite likely. I wonder if they might go with Tinariwen for the other and keep Kurt Vile, Aldous Harding for subs on the Woods?
  4. Have faith in Simon. It will be a great weekend. There are always feelings of disappointment or being underwhelmed by the headliners. People doubted them over Tame Impala, Michael Kiwanuka, Feist etc etc but all put on good shows. The undercard is always where the magic happens. Don't worry.
  5. Would be up for Laura as Woods headliner but would need a full band I think. If it is just her solo show (which is what she has been touring recently) then would have to be on the Garden Stage surely?
  6. Wonder if we are going to get any clues today like in previous years?
  7. I’m another that just doesn’t get the Wet Leg love-in. Novelty band aren’t they?
  8. Welcome Justiceforcedave! It's open - you can take drinks wherever you like. Just not allowed to take any glass into any part of the site.
  9. I thought they were fantastic when I saw them!
  10. I think will all depend on what happens on June 14th. If announcement made that next step of road-map the following Monday is delayed, we'll start to see many festivals pull the plug.
  11. (And just to clarify, personally I’m hoping Bright Eyes/Pixies don’t clash)
  12. My reasoning is - I’d have thought there will be major interest in Bright Eyes, such that we might be looking at the Garden getting too full. The easy way to solve that is by putting a big draw on the Woods stage at the same time, e.g. Pixies. If they put Bright Eyes up against King Krule, it’s going to make it a big problem in my opinion. The other possibility is they pull a Bill Callahan type solution and Bright Eyes are moved to the Woods...
  13. Going to be Pixies on the Woods on Sunday I think.
  14. That is my feeling too. It doesn't sound like he did any more wrong than multiple generations of front men before him. It sounds like he has spent a long time reflecting on what happened if you read more current articles and has had help. A lot of people still very angry with him though and consider Pinegrove as 'cancelled'. I have met and spoken to him (before this all kicked off) and would agree with the comment earlier that he did come across as a really nice bloke. They were really excellent last time in the tipi. Be interesting to see the reception they get.

  16. Really excellent line-up. Truly something for everyone there. Interested in people’s thoughts on Pinegrove playing. I guess it means Simon is convinced enough that Evan deserves another chance. What do others think? (Actually really like the new album from a musical point of view)
  17. The time for speculation and wishing is nearly over. This is the place for all your comments and thoughts on the confirmed line-up announcement.
  18. I’d say there is no chance of this happening.
  19. Isn't it Bartlett Tennessee though? That could mean Julien Baker.
  20. Latest FB clue is Black Country New Road surely!!
  21. I would agree Pixies would fit best as a Thursday headliner.
  22. Expecting to see a few of these on the undercard this year: Heavy Lungs Lazarus Kane Working Men's Club The Big Moon John Just Mustard Modern Nature Penelope Isles Egyptian Blue
