  1. I will be paying with my Barclaycard because they still offer a OTP which is easier to read and react to in my opinion. Just drag down from the top, read the number and type it straight in. Forgot to say, that is because I am more confident of getting through on my phone than on my laptop
  2. There has got to be at least 1 female headliner, so I am sticking with Dua Lipa over RiRi We know AM are (sadly) nailed on, and I am confident they will do the Friday. So GnR or Reg for the Saturday night
  3. So in this year's resale I used an incognito browser (not chrome). This is the type of browser app that doesn't leave a footprint and wipes everything as soon as it closes. It transfers far less data back and forth and I got my tix in less than 2 mins. Not sure if it was luck or not but for anyone else using this type of browser app it is crucial you do not select authorise payment in app you must choose OTP otherwise you have to close the app window when authorising. Whereas with OTP it pops up in the notifications. Good luck everyone.
  4. Despite the cost. There will still be a million w*nkers with flags in front of the Pyramid so you won't be able to see fuck all anyway even though you have spent all that money.
  5. For me and the daughter. Who is at York Uni. That is £785 before Sticklinch which is where I was planning to camp. I am gonna need some worthy headliners before I drop the best part of £1500 on a G2023 weekend. I think they are taking the piss now.
  6. So I visited the Pier this year, for all of about 10 mins. It was interesting, but I would really question the worth and value of building/breaking it every year. Looks like it takes about 10 weeks up/down. Surely the money spent on this could be better spent elsewhere. It also takes up a massive amount of camping space in Pennards, and does nothing to help the blockage at the top of the Park when a big act is on. If it wasn't there, they could move the toilets back a bit and make them bigger. I am sure there are people that love it, but really, would anyone miss it if it wasn't there?
  7. I agree it should be re-named. Not sure what the name of the field is, but just rename it after the field its in. Easy!
  8. Nice to meet you both as well! yeah, they would start with "Ladies and Gentlemen can I have your attention please" then announce the persons name, say it was their first time, and all the others would start clapping!
  9. Having done WV and SL now, I much preferred SL. I was in a 2 person scout on my own, row A, met some lovely people. We were very close to the main entrance, which was fantastic for trips to the car, I did 3 trips will all my stuff within an hour of arriving. Only issue with being that close, is that the ticket stewards thought it was hilarious to do a big announcement for all arriving glasto virgins. Got slightly bored of that especially early in the morning. Toilets were great, only had a long queue once, other times managed to time it right. Urinals were a god send. Shower was lovely. Security on Gully gate was definitely a bit lacking on Wednesday/Thursday, but noticeably got better after that. It is a long walk, which was very painful, but if I decide to go back again then I would go for SL again.
  10. I actually had a really good festival, especially after 2016. I always wanted to do 10 and now I have. I stayed in Sticklinch and the walk home at night was hard and my ankles/heels are fucked. Friday was probably my single best day in 10 festivals. Truly an amazing music day and so much fun. I haven't decided if I will go again, but I won't have FOMO anymore if I don't go.
  11. Decent ale and reasonably priced food.
  12. 29000 on Thursday, over 120k in total. My feet and ankles have resigned in protest.
  13. Jack White was rammed as well. If they aren't willing to do screens then they need to stop putting these acts on the stage. Also, get the idiots in charge of the Stonebridge to either turn their music down, or have no music on at all until the stage has finished.

    Diana Ross

the crowd was insane, people were even sitting at the top of the Hawkswell field by the fence. More and more people kept on streaming in. Shame Diana wasn't really up to the job of a legend. Maybe she would have been better 2 years ago.
  15. Loads came in through Sticklinch camping. They were jumping the Sticklinch fence, because it was smaller than the super fence, then sprinting past the security at Gully Gate.
  16. The absolute knobhead waving Mr Blobby on a flag pole in front of Neil Tennants face really pissed me off. The Flags have gone too far now. They need to go.
  17. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Paul Mescal and Daisy whatever. Also think I bumped into James Haskell and Chloe Madeley and walked past Steve (Snooker) Davis.
  18. DiRo crowd is bigger than the Stones and that is the biggest I have ever seen. Shame that sadly she is a bit crap. I have bailed and gone to Fontaine's DC.
  19. Ezra was amazing. Unbelievable set and the crowd was wild. Whether you like him or not it was end to end singalong bangers!
  20. It is quite staggering how many people bring their chairs, picnics and just sit at the Pyramid all day.
  21. Think it was £20k for Springsteen
  22. Flags in front of the pyramid stage. That is all.
