EDIT: I've done IOW a few times and to be totally honest it's not my favourite. You've got the Bembridge Red Trouser brigade and a lot of bored teenagers as well. My approach is usually staying at a cheap Air BnB in Ryde, then getting the shuttle bus there and back each day. Nice bakery on Ryde's Union Street.
Otherwise, take as much as you can muster if you're staying on-site because it's pretty ruralish. You can't just nip to the supermarket etc.yeah we’re staying on site. Will probably stay at the furthest point away as we’re a little older and need a bit of sleep. Also means we should be closer to the car park for our early morning trip home Monday.
We’re driving so will cram as much in as we can.
With no Glasto we needed something to take our mind off it, Green Day, The Prodigy, The Streets should keep me entertained enough!
