  1. Have enjoyed what I've heard from Arkane Roots on random playlists in the car before but never dived into an album so looking forward to that I have never liked the Maccabees at all from all the singles I've heard so not expecting much there
  2. Slowdive Quite liked this one, never really come across them before which is odd considering how long they've been around (excluding hiatus). Will give this a few listens as it feels like it may grow on me even more but for now I'd give it a 3/5. Good choice
  3. Been vibing with Steely Dan recently. Never done a deep dive on them before and not sure why
  4. The Cure - 90 Radiohead - 180 (-10) The Rolling Stones - 185 Stevie Wonder - 198 Blur - 195 R.E.M. - 240 David Bowie - 290 Pulp - 120
  5. The travelling band Was it horrific? - No Did it sound as I expected? - Based on the description in OP, yes Overall thoughts - Some good parts but bits of the album lost my attention Would I watch them at a festival? - Probably not Would I listen to it again? - I really liked Leftover Lines so yeah I'd probably spin that again Will I investigate them further? - No Score out of 5 - 2. It's not really my kind of thing but there were a couple of good tracks. Would happily have it on in the background
  6. Got my vaccine booked in for next Saturday which is probably the most exciting event of the year so far for me
  7. I hadn't even thought about star wars as I'm not a massive fan of it anyway. I just call them evil for their history of subliminal messages, some older films being pretty racist, the fact they just buy any competition, they messed around pixar a lot and that they'll sue anyone who utters the words mickey mouse. Also Walt disney was dodgy character and disney still don't really acknowledge that
  8. Enjoyed that finale. Wanda is clearly going to be unbelievably powerful when we next see her which should be interesting Also huge fan of Monica and looking forward to seeing what she can do (she's also smokin') Not long to wait for Falcon and the Winter soldier. As much as I don't like to praise evil corporations like Disney I am loving this output and Disney Plus is growing to be a really impressive platform. Netflix for me hasn't put anything decent out for a while and their film selection is really quite poor
  9. Unfortunately my MCR gig falls into the same date and it seems very unlikely, bit surprised they haven't confirmed anything yet so they could just be pushing it back to like August? Realistically I'd say it's another year waiting
  10. The Killers - 85 +10 The Cure - 126 Radiohead - 150 Arcade Fire - 48 The Rolling Stones - 165 Beyoncé - 117 Stevie Wonder - 180 Blur - 231 R.E.M. - 210 David Bowie - 264 Pulp - 100
  11. The Killers – 151 The Cure - 130 Radiohead - 170 Arcade Fire - 110 The Rolling Stones - 165 Beyoncé -115 (-10) Stevie Wonder - 186 Blur - 211 R.E.M. - 190 David Bowie - 255 Pulp - 117
  12. https://www.banquetrecords.com/architects/pryzm%2C-8%3A00pm-(14%2B)/Archi070821 A one off architects show at Pryzm in Kingston, on sale at 6. Will sell out instantly but I'll give it a go
  13. Another 2 albums I've never listened to, looking forward to getting stuck in once I can stop playing architects latest on loop
  14. Paul McCartney - 6 (-10) The Killers – 150 The Cure – 165 Radiohead - 150 Arcade Fire - 132 The Rolling Stones - 166 Beyoncé - 165 Stevie Wonder - 176 Neil Young - 83 Blur - 198 R.E.M. - 176 David Bowie - 260 Pulp - 105
  15. Wasn't there but she looked great for this whole set
  16. Had to look this up, he really hasn't done anything good in a very long time. Talk about peaking early

    Taylor Swift

Well Killers played John Peel which was barely a secret Saying that I really doubt she'll do a secret set
  18. Will have a quick read up on it I do quite like going into this stuff semi blind though. I remember seeing infinity war and at the captain marvel reveal at the end I had no idea what it was until some random 10 year old kid explained it to half of the cinema. Think it made his day having a bunch of adults listen to him intently

    Taylor Swift

Yeah that was awful, his set did absolutely pop off initially but then got pretty boring and he really missed a trick not having an actual band. Blood on the leaves could've been great with some actual instrumentalists
  20. I only ironically like this song but just hearing it I get that nostalgia from when it first came out Just turned 18/19 Going out every weekend Can almost taste the cheap vodka & energy drink All my mates living within walking distance Knowledge that I won't wake up the next day feeling like I've been hit by a bus So yeah shit song but good memories

This. I'll be over the moon to just see her but would prefer it to be a greatest hits, dance your asses off kind of setlist
  22. Cool, I don't really know much about Marvel besides the films so everything is a new story to me
  23. 1. Architects - for those who wish to exist 2. Mogwai - as the love continues 3. Epica - Omega (goth metal which I seem to like)
  24. Best episode yet this one. Would love to see Strange turn up in the finale. Will Wandas kids continue as characters/be real once all this is resolved? Could they end up at Xmen school?
  25. Paul McCartney - 79 (-10) The Killers – 140 The Cure – 170 Radiohead - 136 Arcade Fire - 160 Metallica - 41 The Rolling Stones - 150 Beyoncé - 135 Stevie Wonder - 181 Neil Young - 135 Blur - 195 R.E.M. - 171 David Bowie - 220 Pulp - 121
