  1. I've listened to almost every acts on the main 3 stages now, and it really is a superb line-up. A couple of acts that I've never heard of before but are now on my must see list, Meryl Streek and Slope. Tomorrow I make a start on Convot Cabaret!
  2. In theory, yes. I was just mucking about, but they are very similar to be honest.

    Excellent! Thanks for that.
  4. Our Co-op is now a Morrison's. It's gone to sh*t round here.
  5. No, I just read it somewhere. Can't recall where to be honest, I thought it was on here but may have been the discord, Twitter, Facebook (unlikely) or Threads. They're all merging onto one!
  6. I think you'd still be able to see most of both, going off last year's timings.
  7. Yeah, I agree, even though the chances of there being anything I want to see there are slim, taking some of the strain seems important. Rumours that Levels is going to be bigger this year, too.
  8. Nothing to really go on, but I think that will be one of the last. They're building something new and you know how these things go, they probably want to be 100% sure it will be ready before they announce what it is. Otherwise it's a let down when it's back to the spider again.
  9. Not as many missing from the main stages as usual because of the high number of acts on the first poster. Someone did do the numbers but it's about 6 on each. Current stae of play: Acoustic ✅️ Avalon ✅️ Shangri-La ✅️ The Glade ✅️ West Holts Silver Hayes Croissant Neuf Leftfield Theatre & Circus Carhenge The Common New Map Woodsies Arcadia Unfairground Glasto Latino The Park Kidzfield Pilton Palais Strummerville Block 9 Plus a few little ones that don't get announced on the official festival website.

Trying to remember GlastoMap. Was that a photo during the festival or out of season? I remember there festival made them take it down.
  11. A few other long lost Shangri-La stages, these all from 2011:

This was brought up elsewhere, apparently it does fill up later on Thursday and into Friday.
  13. Looks like we're going to get day splits (at least) tomorrow.

Glastopedia has done a version with the stages and various other locations labelled. 2023 Satellite Image (glastopedia.com)

As mentioned before, I think the gathering round the Pyramid tree is TWFTPU thing Glasto Chat do. I took the 2nd photo at 13:02. The crowd look a little thinner and there's a big crowds round Stonebridge and at T&C riser so I think it's a little later.
  16. Glastonbury-on-Sea is a great way to while away an hour, I honestly don't know why people have such a downer on it. It's something very different from a lot of tge festival an well worth a visit. There's also a lovely little stage just over the track from it, a good place to spend some of Thursday, away from the madness.
  17. No, it's all a dreadful racket. But I believe drugs help.
  18. Remember when they also used to have blues and folk on Glade? Happy days.
  19. The Glade Area | Glastonbury Festival (glastonburyfestivals.co.uk) "This year will kick off with the triumphant return of Faithless to the Glade. Faithless recently teased their exciting return to Glastonbury with a Thursday night headline slot at The Glade Stage. With unprecedented hype for their 2024 comeback the band will now be marking their return on an even bigger slot on Friday night, kicking off the weekend with an unforgettable performance."
