  1. Enjoy - be sure to pass on any useful info!
  2. Oklou was on the original lineup poster playing the Sunrise but they've now deleted her page from the website. Ishmael Ensemble were announced as being on BBC Introducing - https://www.latitudefestival.com/news/bbc-introducing-line-up-revealed/. BBC Introducing also tweeted about them. Any ideas when we might get times for that stage, or is it going to be a blackboard outside the tent affair??
  3. She was on the main stage (after Bill Bailey) so could we get a main stage sized replacement? Or just a bump up and shuffle around elsewhere.
  4. You'd have thought so, but they're on there as Friday at midday, BBC Sounds.
  5. And I’m sure the app said 4pm before - clearly that’s right.
  6. If you click on her name you see she's on at 2pm. Likewise Sons of Kemet at 10pm.
  7. Hot Chip. Don’t generally do much for me on record, but fantastic fun live.
  8. But if those guys create and direct all the (impressive) visuals, lasers etc, what are the Brothers actually doing on stage??
  9. Any particular recommendations for comedians, podcasts, dance, theatre etc?
  10. Yes, these guys are great. Big vegan sushi rolls & bowls, really tasty.
  11. If you’re not leaving site, you don’t need to re-test. You only need to prove your status (double jab or negative) when entering the site.
  12. Great sound, that. Not sure about the lyrics though.
  13. Loved the Mr Jukes album, but not so much his recent singles with rapper Barney Artist, who he's listed with here. On a very different vibe, Sam Lee has a good take on trad folk, with plenty of acclaim eg https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/feb/01/sam-lee-old-wow-review-bernard-butler-elizabeth-fraser. Regressive Left, in the Ballroom, ought to go down pretty well with the eFests crowd, like a lo-fi LCD with leftie lyrics.
  14. I expect it is right, as it is not massively different to last time: https://www.latitudefestival.com/map/ It’s not ideal for general camping, but that walk is still not that long. And in terms of capacity, they know how many tickets they have sold for family v general.
  15. Me too. Quite a lot of us judging from the Latitude section on here. I've been once before. I'm assuming/hoping the crowd will be more up for a party than the usual blanket brigade - it's a festival that's actually happening, and they've booked the Chemical Brothers! But I guess a lot of people there will be rollovers from last year, and this is a place where the family camping section is as big if not bigger than the standard section.
  16. Quick Spotify playlist of the BBC Introducing lineup: Not got the time (or the inclination) to investigate these acts, this is just their 5 most popular tracks (with the odd tweak to remove remixes etc).
  17. Ishmael Ensemble are great - jazz/electronica/psychedelia Bleach Lab have been tipped by a few on here too, female-fronted indie/shoegaze:
  18. There are a few critically acclaimed and/or obscure gems I could nominate for this, but the honest answer is Bohemian Rhapsody. And I’m not otherwise much of a Queen fan at all.
  19. Ah yeah, you might be on to something there!
  20. Yeah and the Sat is already sold out for day tickets. Would have made much more sense to add Damon to the Sunday. Him and a piano would be much more appealing then. I predict a fair amount of people deserting his set once they realise he isn't going to light up their Saturday night with Blur/Gorillaz bangers.
  21. Alcove stage day splits are now on the artist A-Z part of the website. To save you the hassle, I've compiled them here, along with my guess at running order (headliners first, we know them): FRIDAY Chubby & The Gang PVA Sinead O'Brien The Cool Greenhouse swim school Wet Leg VLURE Powerplant Gabby Rivers SATURDAY Joe Armon-Jones Charlotte Jane Joel Culpepper Nayana IZ El-EMCEE SUNDAY Liz Lawrence Julia Bardo Emily Burns AVA Waves ME REX The Golden Dregs Vanity Fairy KYANOS The new expanded poster also has 'We are Lady Parts' playing the Alcove. Presumably they'll be added to the otherwise short Saturday lineup.
  22. The Snuts, eh? Not paid them much attention but believe @Gnomicide is a fan?
  23. Wow, a lineup addition! Added her to the setlist-based* playlist here: Also added new/updated tracks for Little Simz, Field Music, Girl Ray, the Goon Sax, ME REX, John Grant, Scalping, Lonelady, Fortitude Valley, caroline and Lazarus Kane. *With very few recent performances to go on I'm trying to balance new releases that are bound to be played with previous setlist favourites.
