    Black Keys

Tbh it's the speaking up which is the worst part about it. They're well within their rights to decline an offer, but that doesn't mean they have to be big babies in the press about it. Especially when it must surely be known in the industry that Glastonbury offer less because of the charity and reduced corporate involvement etc? Doesn't exactly make them look good.

    Resale Club 2023

That was my thought when they first announced the new changes. It was already seemingly heading that way anyway - lots of big groups of people getting tickets every year, and now I fear this is only going to increase. But still, better than a ballot, I guess. Then we'd be really screwed.

    Resale Club 2023

Same thing happened to our group in both the October sales. Got in early with the direct link but booted out to the holding page when trying to go further. Didn't lock our registrations, but still put me off using a direct link last night. Would be good if anyone has a concrete answer to this, and whether or not we should be using the direct links.
  4. Any help tonight or sunday is much appreciated - thanks!

My first resale experience (for my own ticket, anyway). Nerves building. Good luck everyone!

    Resale Club 2023

Not sure I'm a fan of these changes. Just makes getting into a huge booking group even more essential. Might have to look at joining one on here for the first time.

    Eurovision Ticket Info

Also, I'd question their decision to hold it in a relatively small arena, given the popularity of the contest and the rarity of the UK hosting. It should have been at Manchester Arena or the O2, at a minimum. Germany held it in a 50k football stadium in 2011. They would have had no problem selling out the equivalent over here, though Cardiff is the only stadium with a roof Maybe nothing else was available or worked logistically for the dates.

    Eurovision Ticket Info

No luck here. Was in the waiting room quite early for the 3 final shows but Ticketmaster decided not to move me to the queue so missed out on vital seconds by the time I refreshed manually. Nothing left when I eventually got through. Much prefer the Seetickets more manual process, despite having it's own frustrations. Let's hope Glastonbury never make the switch.
  9. Was just thinking there was a bit of crossover with 2014. Royal Blood, Warpaint, Lana, Manics, Blondie, Chvrches, War on Drugs, Young Fathers, Goldfrapp, Rudimental... Can't say I'm too fussed as I was a big fan of the 2014 lineup
  10. Other headline against GNR is ideal (sorry Calgon)
  11. Wasn't expecting much as festival lineups look a bit underwhelming to me compared to last year, but quite a few of my favourites on there already. Lana, Chvrches, Warpaint, QOTSA, and a fair few others I'd be happy to watch. Resale is going to be extra stressful now
  12. I reckon Chvrches are over to support Coldplay - their uk tour ends on the 7th so the dates match. Maybe they can fit Glasto in as well though. Depends if they follow Coldplay around Europe. Loved their previous Glasto sets, so hopefully manage to get a ticket if they do finally make a return.
  13. Hoping it's not another album full of piano ballads. I'm a massive Lana fan, but the last 2 albums felt a bit samey and didn't quite do it for me tbh. Would like a bit more pop and bigger production. Fingers crossed for a tour next year
  14. If I get a resale ticket I'd almost certainly be there. Would only consider missing it if one of my favourites headlined another stage.
  15. Very sad news. Feeling glad I managed to see the full band when they toured a few years ago - was the day after Glastonbury 2015 I believe, so treated it as my 4th headliner. Always hoped we'd get them on the farm - think they would have been the perfect Pyramid headliner. RIP Christine
  16. Yep - a friend got hold of the correct link beforehand and the reg screen loaded at 8.58. Filled in the details and got the follow up screen confirming the registrations. However trying to get beyond that just sent them back into the queue.
  17. This was the first time I have failed to get tickets in the initial deposit/coach sale since I started going in 2011. None of us got beyond the holding page, until just before the 'event not found' page came up. And as frustrating as today was, I agree with you completely. Ticketmaster's random 'queue' would be bad. A ballot would be a nightmare. Chances of getting a ticket would drop even more.
  18. Finally got through and entered our details 5 mins ago, but the dreaded 'event not found' screen is now coming up
  19. Rubbish sleep. Knackered, slightly hungover, and my room smells like bonfire. Good luck everyone!
  20. Nabbed a couple of Finsbury tickets just before they sold out. Regretted not seeing them on their last tour (apart from the Park set which was a classic). Plenty of Northern dates but all a bit awkward to get back from without a hotel anyway. On the subject, I think a Pyramid headline set would go down really well on the night, though I expect they will sub or headline other.
  21. The spinning wheel of death scares me now. There seemed to be no way past it. Somebody mentioned they let it time out and then resubmitted the reg details and it worked? Maybe that's the only solution - if you get in early enough. Also, do we place enough importance on obtaining the proper link in advance - the worthy farm link with numbers at the end? Surely it's a massive advantage to be able to bypass the initial glastonbury.seetickets.com refresh stage - where more often than not the site seems to crash for a good 5/10 mins.
  22. The most frustrating sale yet. Got through to the reg number screen instantly on 6, but just got a spinning wheel of death when trying to submit them. Nothing I did could get rid of it. Any ideas? By the time I got through again, the coaches had all been allocated.
  23. Not been this nervous for 3 years. Good luck all!
  24. Yeah we arrived mid afternoon on the Weds this year and got in our usual spot easy enough, but it surprised me how quickly it filled up around us. Waking up on Thurs morning it definitely felt as full as it ever gets. Added to the feeling of everything being a bit busier this year. Looking at the replies, it seems there are still other options near gate A for Thurs arrivals, so that's reassuring if needing to arrive late for whatever reason.
  25. Until this year we'd always camped in Bushy with no problem when arriving on a Thursday. However this year we got a Wednesday coach down and it was already pretty full by the evening. Probably a knock-on effect from Pylon becoming half-crew camping. Has made me think I'll probably stick to Wednesday arrivals from now on.
