  1. So a few years back in the pyramid field I was approached by a couple of people had taken their friends to the festival in Lego form as they were unable to make it that year . They took a photo of their friends on the pyramid stage (hat ) and seemed delighted about it . I thought it lovely at the time and is a memory for me and hopefully them too . Hopefully in some way a keepsake but maybe not in a physical form

Could this be related to the Arrivals stage in Shangri La?

saw that elsewhere , the information was that  it was for Williams green area so dont think so unless things have changed , completely different area organisers / creative teams

Secured the ticket today 🙏🏼 Can now ask any info on replacement for the Rabbit Hole? Same people organising a new area there? Also any Arcadia updates?

Yep it’s same people and it’s called the wishing well I’ve been told . There’s conflicting info about Arcadia but seems most likely in my opinion to involve the sea king helicopter they’ve purchased some time ago

  4. congratulations to all users with successful tales this evening , even if you happen to need to go to random place , itll be worth it , helpers for spreadsheet really appreciated and also a couple of people on the ED thread would appreciate the help 😉 enjoy your evening 🙂 and the build up

It was quicker than that I think. I was through to booking page within a few minutes and had checked every departure town in england for wednesday by 6.12 and got 'no shows available' when I tried the thursday page

Sometimes odd ones drop in so may not have officially sold out

There are ticket competitions being run by:

    Co-op (pre existing)

    Vodafone (pre existing)

    Guardian (pre existing)

    Brothers (pre existing)

Tony's Chocolenly / oxfam (pre existing but relatively new)

    chillys (new)

    barbour (new)

    Hunter wellies (new)

    White Claw Hard Seltzer (new)

It also seems these tie ups are resulting in far more tickets being available in competitions, as Vodafone have pver 100 pairs and the Chillys comps are giving out six at a time.

The main issue is probably also that the new ones are with companies which seem marketed at a certain demograaaaphic.

However some might have disappeared …  thinking no GWR so far … although that Vodaphone one is ridiculous

Indeed - the benefit of the tony's one is that there is no need to identify a name until you have the piece of cardboard/paper saying you've won. And I'm certain any of us here would happily be known as a crazy fool, in the circumstances!

dont need to even be known as that if the ticket were sent on securely and the qr code not activated

how many tickets are going to the resale anyway? about 8? lol

usually around 10k is the estimate ....from surveys by accounts on twitter , festival have never given the figure .

I am going on coach for first time this year, Thursday from Bristol. Looking for a bit of clarification from anyone with experience

when we booked it , it clearly says 06:30 departure , 05:30 return .

I’ve been working on the basis 6.30am is the nailed on departure time which I am more than happy with , but is there any chance it could just be a placeholder ? (With us given a different time nearer festival)

also if I do need to catch coach back too (might be able to snag a lift with mates driving), I’m gonna struggle with 5.30am ha . Think I read somewhere the departures are a bit more relaxed and with somewhere like Bristol which prob has lots of coaches you just rock up whenever and wait for next space?

Bristol and London you book the set times which the departure is and the driver should check you off onto that coach , he/ she will have your festival tickets so make sure you are on the correctly numbered coach ... which you may already know or you will get in an email closer to the time
