You’ll need a parking pass to get into carparks at £55 slightly more on gate . Any cars stopping on the road will be waved on or potentially liable for an on the spot fine

She's 9. SO Unless we can get into and near to a gate then B&W it might have to be
Definately bath and west then I’d say at that age . You really can’t drop off near gate A . Would be just about achievable as an adult but not a child tbh

Could wife not make way to taxi/coach drop off?
Yes but depending on age of child it would be better to go and meet them at bath and west and then do return trip on the shuttle with child
-
I’d imagine you might have to get the shuttle bus from gate a to bath and west drop off point to meet her . Give plenty of time

I'm really excited to know about your great valuables now 😉
I just make sure my tent is so untidy nobody would even bother … in fact on occasion I’ve come back and thought I’ve been robbed only to find the missing bits when I pack up at the end

It makes sense to me.
I mean I've definitely walked though a field of tents and noticed padlocks on zips. Especially if there bright metal that reflects the sun.
Just because your tent enables you do conceal the padlock does not mean it will for everyone's tent.
Ps won't be anything in mind I'd be bothered about being nicked and I'd never padlock it for fear that someone would wreck the tent easily getting in.
Each to there own but personally I think pad locking a tent is a bad idea
I'm sure I'm bot the only one
It’s definately advised against

Looking brilliant, how’s the weight for wearing it for lengthy periods? Reckon the Coldplay wristbands will have some serious competition.
its light ... not even half the weight of the old one , will mostly wear this one post headliners and on wed , thurs .... im about to start version 2 ( just the frame ) which will be worn at other times and is lighter still
edit im hoping to add a wristband or two to it if I can get one this time 🙂

Not sure I'd like that you know, hate politics taking over in an overt way beyond the messaging - its the chanting I don't like. oh jeremy corbyn, f**k the tories etc did/does my head in at gigs. Though not as bad as groups of guys bursting into "Will Grieg's on fire" every 2 minutes that year...
Think it might lift the mood but not be a massive influence on things generally . Doubt you’d get much more of that stuff than in a normal year tbh it does have its political areas anyway

I’ve got the air version of that tent. It’s good for a short family camp in nice weather, but probably not a wet festival. The bedroom part is fine though.
One of the windows is mesh with an internal cover which I’d imagine would leak. Also you can’t easily padlock it, which I always do at festivals.
I have an F&B quick hiker 3 for festivals, it’s really good in bad weather. No porch though.
Why do you padlock it out of interest ? Surely that is asking for trouble and someone to slash it ? Not only losing valuables but ending up with a damaged tent ? Just use the free lockups they are amazing

Unless theres any other knowledge it can only be costs?
they could have just stopped opening it on the thursday, if that was the issue. Or booked stuff most people hadnt heard of / given a leg up to emerging bands.
can you tell i am still annoyed about it 😂
glasto at this point are asking the the rest of the festival sector and industry to do the new bands / talent development for them and book acts 2/3 years down the road on park / woodsies that have already done the festival circuit by the time they reach that level
You do realise there are 100 stages that they are still able to use to promote talent ? Williams green not the only one …. They also run several competitions designed at promoting talent either by giving space at Pilton party or offering a space at the festival
