  1. Yeah, it's not like they never have label/organisation takeovers, is it? Our friend Mr Ddiamondd could possibly shed some light. I think I'd like to see more curated areas here and there. Anjunadeep, Hardcore Energy, Teletech, RAM, you name it. Would be fun.
  2. I agree. Surprised we've not seen a Boiler Room x Glasto event of some description yet Nice one on the R1 comp. I think you've been eyeing that event up for some time, haven't you?
  3. This is nice! I'd love a "Boiler Room/WHP Concourse" style stage in the south east corner. Something about surrounding the DJ that adds to the atmosphere
  4. With the price of gigs these days, can you imagine what a Zep reunion stadium tour would/charge? It's admirable that they stick to their principles, they could probably make more money on one tour than in the whole of their careers
  5. To a certain degree, I guess so. I'd imagine numbers are strictly limited the further towards the headliners we go. I'm talking more about larger spaces, where a separate party goes on. None of the current crew/backstage areas have a significant amount of investment (again, maybe apart from Maceo's), certainly nothing that necessitates the kind of infrastructure that's currently hidden next to PGC. When the festival invests into staging, it currently very much goes into the "public" space, first and foremost. I don't see any shift from that policy.
  6. You'd follow Ben to the edge of the Common. Then turn around.
  7. Yeah, something like that wouldn't necessarily be in the spirit that the festival so often prides itself upon. Within the fence, an inclusive space, regardless of status. It would certainly be a new direction to take, one akin to a more commercial festival that divides "VIPs" with the rest. Sure, Glastonbury has backstage areas like Interstage but that's dead. The only one really worth writing home about is Maceo's and that can be accessed if you really want to get in. I'm not even sure which backstage areas would be big enough to house it either. It's a fair bit of kit, that. Another vote here for Genosys. I've seen it all with my own eyes, they could do spectacular stuff with it. I'm excited for the possibilities.
  8. They could've spent some of it on the poster
  9. I think you're right. But how sweet it would be on either Levels or the Temple 🙏🏼
  10. The Pyramid Stage, in association with Etihad Airways. Has a nice ring to it.
  11. Glad to see All The Stars on there. That tune slaps.
  12. The War and Treaty were my surprise of 2022. Unadulterated joy. They would be most welcome back
  13. You're probably better off all heading towards orange car park and pedestrian gate A (seeing as one group is on the coach). It's slightly inconvenient for those coming from London as they'll drive "around" the site but it makes sense as most of you are coming from the west. If you do that, I'd suggest any of Darble, Dairy, Bushy or Pylon grounds. If you do end up going in through pedestrian gate D, it's no problem, just means a slightly longer walk for those on the coach.
  14. Which part of the country are you coming from? Anyone who arrives by coach will probably enter through A
  15. Yeah, I guess that could happen. Feels like they would have been on the initial poster though. Plus, the US tour ends in May and things kick off again in Europe in November. Although it's feasible for Summer festivals, looks like a scheduled break to me
  16. Should just call themselves "Wet"
  17. Yep, top three for me
  18. I'll take the Cardiff ones, if they're still available?
  19. I'd say it's mainly the more avant garde and less mainstream side of electronica with a handful of more recognised names from the world of techno and DnB. I don't see the policy changing too much. If you're looking for something a little more accessible, fingers crossed the rebirth of Genosys will scratch that itch!
