  4. I think they've only played live a couple times but it would be wonderful if they did a few large one-offs, based on the availability of artists. Realistically PJ Harvey, Matt Berry, Mike Kerr, Stella Mozgawa, Jesse Hughes, Mark Lanegan and maybe even Jake Shears could join the QOTSA lads for a session at the Big G
  5. Dua Lipa to sub Elton and join him during his set?
  6. @Hugh Jass after 2012's festival, I made peace with the fact that the only thing that was the same at Reading was the location

  8. Didn't their recent communication say that they were focusing all attention on Worthy Pastures? I read that as no Equinox or PP.

  10. As much as I love QOTSA, after seeing them so many times, I'd much prefer to see Desert Sessions headline. That would be ridiculous fun.
  11. Thanks for sharing. The write-up and the venue. Just did a quick search on the venue but can't seem to find anything...yet. Maybe it was a pilot event? Either way, an exciting new warehouse in Bristol can only be a good thing! If you hear of any more events taking place there, report it on this thread! Edit: if the license runs until January, you can bet a NYE event is on the cards.
  12. This is exactly my mindset ZMG and I too have Primavera (weekend 2) tickets in the bag. I've kept 8 days holiday aside just in case a working placement comes along. I really don't think I'll get a ticket and that's not negativity or reverse psychology, it's a dose of realism. If I had no luck (not even a page) when 150,000 were on sale, I have almost no chance with less than (probably) 5,000 available. After a two-year break. On the back of a global pandemic. When most people won't have had the opportunity to go to a festival since 2019. I'll give it a go, of course but if a working opportunity arises before that, I'll take it, then I won't try for tickets. If someone is good enough to offer me a way in, I'll commit to that.

  14. Would definitely have done the Anjunadeep day if I wasn't already at WHP. Quite gutted about that clash. Those TO BE and FROM OUR MINDS lineups are pretty stellar (paging @bennyhana22), think there'll be some interest in those from within this thread.
  15. It's Running in the Family
  16. Billie Eilish // Wolf Alice ?? // Noel Gallagher Elton John // Dua Lipa
  17. I was thinking more of creating an eFestisaurus, out in time for Christmas
  18. I love that "Relton Rohn" is now deeply embedded within efests vernacular alongside other terms such as "Pymild"
  19. Arctic Monkeys would be a huge booking but not one they necessarily need to make, with stellar bookings in Billie Eilish and Elton John apparently lined up. Pop megastar + living legend + up-and-coming-British-band-with-a-front-woman fits quite nicely. I think AM might have a couple of their own big shows next year and like someone above has said above, more likely 2023 looks a certainty for them on the farm
  20. Give Wolf Alice the third headliner slot, I say! I don't think they will, for what it's worth but a guitar-based or electronic act would give the trio some balance, if it is Billie and Elton
