New Manchester Psych Fest additions. Altin Gun pulled out late in 2021.
Would be a great addition!

Good chance of some new names next week I reckon (or certainly this month now)!
Never understood why the leave the day splits until the Summer. Bands get booked for specific days, they must know them now...
I guess they can still potentially do some stage and slot shuffling if needed? Also it's another announcement innit?- 1

We thinking there might be some more acts announced in April?

Spoiler alert: Everyone who goes will have a great time and it’ll sell out again next year.

Yeah my whole team are firmly in the frame for Justice but I don't really fancy repeating 2017 all over again so soon..
I'm the same. 17 was a cracking show... I can't see how this will be vastly different.

That means they’re a Lana del Ray sized booking… right?!
Coachella headliners next year then.

Bring it on! Very pleased about this.

Yep total poisoned chalice. Now depending on the results and possible tory wipeout he will go down as one of the worst PMs in history. They must be absolutely terrified of Reform, not to mention labour polling like 20 points ahead. It's wipeout territory
It's delicious.

yeah...something afoot? Polls aren't narrowing, if anything looking worse. Budget didn't work (they could have spent that 20bn on something more useful!). Sunak is just no good at this.
I think Sunak’s run was doomed from the start. All well and good to pin it on him, but years of Tory scandal, f**kups and f**k wits have lead to this.

My guess is it won't suddenly appear, and that we'll have some kind of tip-off/indication before hand.

All major lenders have been increasing them over the last 3 weeks.
It slowed this last week but still slightly up again.

I'll answer!
No..but I might do...any good?
It's 4 episodes at about 45 min each, so not a quick watch. I thought it was decent and very balanced. They've got a good set of talking heads, though notably Dom Cum, May and Sunak have opted not to be involved (a good call no doubt) and Acuri, Dorres and the haunted victorian pencil are very annoying.
Not a lot you don't know already, but interesting as a complete picture of how much Boris' career aspirations influenced Brexit and how inevitable it was that his stint as Prime Minister was doomed to failure.
Give the first one a go and see how you feel. -
Anyone watch the rise and fall of Boris Johnson doc on channel 4?

Anyone got any recommendations? Been diving into the lineup and found a lot to love so far. Especially keen for recommendations lower down the bill who slap live!

Stevie Nicks would make a great Sub for Coldplay. BOOK IT EMILY!

No Shark Smile?! They have been playing Sadness as a Gift though which is pretty ace. I'm game for Big Thief, but it'll depend on who they're up against as saw them at GM 19 and it was enjoyable, but not a standout performance that weekend.

The worrying thing for me re the SZA news is this probably rules out there being any really big subs ala Olivia Rodrigo (Lizzo last year) as they'd have just bumped them up. I also feel like it may rule out a churnups style slot as that would've surely been the easy option to bump too. Still, looking forward to the line-up and reaction. Hoping we get it asap but have a feeling BST will want shows (SZA and potentially Stevie Nicks) on sale for up to a week so we won't actually get anything until w/c 18/03 at the earliest.
It all depends on who is available and when. Just because you've got a big sub who can headline or a secret set somewhere... doesn't mean the act is available on the day you have a gap at the top of the bill.

Mmmm..... delicious lineup for breakfast! Nom, nom, nom.

The end of the festival was fascinating last year. We ended up leaving late on Monday and the internet suddenly just vanished! Can only assume there's some kind of network boosty magic that gets turned on before and off after the festival.

I still think the deal should have been if you voted to leave, you don’t get free movement, if you voted to stay…hurray free movement!
