Not long to go now!
If the weather stays like this we'll have to bring shedloads of blankets!
-
Y-Not have set high standards after the belter they put on last year but FT loves the festival so maybe he might make a return?
-
Timespeedup is right with selling out concerns but we are ever hopeful/crossing fingers that we might sell out a tad sooner . Last year was 3/4 weeks before so you have plenty of time to make your mind up or sell a body part. We do have volunteer spaces to help with set up available which allows you to enjoy the weekend volunteers@beardedtheory.co.uk
Thursday tickets are very low in numbers, like campervan passes and should sell out in February.

Thankfully not mate, got white hair trying to sort this last band out. I think the Peter Donegan thing will be pretty good on Saturday especially if he plays with his Dads original band. Quite happy with how the fourth stage is coming on (not done by me), should be a really decent alternative when complete
-
SLF are the main addition along with a number of smaller stage acts. Not my cuppa, but I know people who are going to be mightily impressed.

Onto happier thoughts, keep your eyes peeled later today for this months newsletter which includes a few extra additions

FTR the last Thursday starter was 2011 when there were reports of theft both Thursday and Friday IIRR. Bearded probably suffers from being the first fest of the year worth robbing from. Alas.
-
Hi Neil, yes and no with that assumption as someone we know within the force said they get a few bogus claims that bump up the stats as well. In 2010 I will always remember the man who had £5000 cash, lap top, expensive phone, £200 sun glasses stolen from under his pillow and asked us for the crime reference number so he could speak to his insurers.
Yes we had 25 reported and have no idea what the total was but thats all we can work with. The trends of where the tents were located were nearly the same as the previous year that got done.
-
We are throwing a lot of resource at the campsite this year and introducing a campsite security office. We had around 25 tent thefts this year and will be looking to get this down massively. We/I have simply had enough of it and will do all we can to put a stop to it otherwise we will be reconsidering continuing.

I am still working on them so dont know just yet.
-
I've found with Neville it often depends entirely who the band behind him are, the best I've seen him recently he was backed by Pauline Black's (Selector) band
-
I have no idea mate. I pass them over to the other Rich to sort out in some sort of order.
-
The joint ticket is the the Friday ticket for BT Karl
-
I think Neville would be due another a stint before the Beat after how well he went down in 2010.
-
The Beat played only played in 2011.
NMA & Rev & Makers have the same set times.
Reverend & the Makers are amazing live and remind me a bit of King Blues in their live performance but I would say they R&tM are even tighter. Go and listen for one song and if its not your cup of tea try one of the other 4 stages.

Maybe someone needs to get Quay Tickets to take a look at their payment type dropdown menu, as it seems that at least 2 of us here would have used Quay Tickets if this had been working ....
-
Nah, mate. Wrong.
-
Ticket Sellers are the cheapest agent as they dont charge postage plus they charge 7% instead of 10%. That said Quay Tickets are a charity so if you feel charitable please use them.
Deposits need to be paid by March 30th.
Tourist Information do charge a booking fee but again as you can get the tickets there and then you wont need to pay postage.
You can always send us a cheque and a stamped addressed envelope, that wouldnt incur anything, please email accounts@springmusic.co.uk

We wont be going next year due to the imminent arrival of a bairn in February, but it looks like we chose the right year to miss BT. Massively underwhelming line up - virtually nothing that garbs my interest. Seems to be mostly made up of the routine festival standards (Levs, ADF etc) which I cant get excited about and a smattering of old school has beens. I would quite like to have seen Gallon Drunk though....
-
Y-Not Festival in Derby is one of the best smaller indie festivals and very good value considering the line up they put out each year.
-
I hadn't realised that - although all of those that did had already sold out the year before too, and some of those who sold out didn't win anything.
I understand the need to market your event, and they're a good marketing tool.
si t - nope
-
The bigger ones not many but small to medium a lot do use it in marketing be it on it their websites or otherwise
-
And how many of those awards have they ever used in marketing?
