It's absolutely mad the amount of songs she releases (in a good way) like who releases a 31 song album like 18 months after her last effort while being on the biggest tour (of all time? i dunno, defo up there). It's also really good.

On listen 4 now. There is some really good stuff in there, and as mentioned, it would have made for a great 13/14 song album, but this is just needlessly long and takes a lot of the gloss off it as a whole for me. Even the world’s biggest Swifties didn't want or need a 31 song, 2+ hour release, given she’s already put out 4 albums in the past 5 years.

Some bloody terrible venues there, if it's gonna be arenas or a sh*t concrete echo box (Plymouth) then Dublin in December it is. If an arena gig is gonna go off, it's gonna be there.

Mate I'd kill for some mainstream US rap, especially if it's from the south. Grime is very much for me! But yeah, consistently awful for US stuff. Denzel Curry at Shangri and Vince Staples on West Holts are probably my highlights over the years. Obviously the one year they book K-Dot is the one year I can't go due to recent parenthood. They did have Earl Sweatshirt on Lonely Hearts last year but he was absolutely terrible from what I saw.

I was a big fan of Drenge. Love all 3 albums and superb live act. I've no idea why they seem to have disappeared but it's a big loss.

Glastonbury, like all good socialist organisations, rewards hard work, charges you a fortune to get in, and builds a big wall around itself to keep out undesirables.

I'm not aware of that. They've always got on as far as I know. Frank is a odd figure politically - he's quite open about his hostility towards the current government but could never quite bring himself to then tell people "so maybe vote for something better" which I found frustrating. He's toured with Bragg, Chris T-T and Grace Petrie so almost seems to be consciously bringing lefties on tour with him, hence helping put those views in front of his fanbase, but never seeming to want to actually say them himself.

Maybe if there was a way of better preventing a machine or unique IP from getting back on the booking page it would be a bit more diverse than the large groups. Or having a ticket buying login linked to your registration which prevents you from buying tickets once yours has been allocated. Probably ways to game this too though.
