The lower Pennards public lido

The river rushing past my porch had to go somewhere and that somewhere was the low ground between Pennards and the railway track - always a muddy area when it rains, this time it ended up under about a metre of water. Having seen the size and speed of the river all morning I wasn't at all surprised. We all kept our fingers crossed and didn't dare say out loud our fears for anyone that'd been trapped in their tents
