Well, just got back from five days in cornwall. It was wonderful. camped at a tiny campsite called court farm which had the tallest man i have ever met as the site owner... i had to stand on a step to talk to him when we arrived as he drawfed me. Would recommend this campsite to anyone, spec if you have children as there is a big field for the wee ones to play in and an old clay works in nearby woods to explore. Clean, friendly and will be back next year hopefully.
the pook had a wonderful time and can't wait to go camping again. Days filled with drinking some rather nice cider, rock pooling and generally mooching around. Recharged my batteries and not feeling so shit about going back to work next week. still have a few days off to relax 
Visited the eden project which was really nice. went for the evening, the weather was lovley and just wondered around with the pook and mr minskyyy looking at all the pretty plants... if it were not for the fact that we had a tiny hire car i would have been tempted to buy half the trees from the shop afterwards 
feeling all wonderful and relaxed if a bit tired after the 6hr drive home... thank good i wasn't doing any of the driving. spent the drive entertaining the pook and reading a book.
but sadly back to reality next week and a rather full week at work.. the weekend will be good though as it is the beggining of four weekends of fun due to myself and three of my best girlfriends having birthdays on the next four saturdays.... may spend the whole of october recovering
