The festival has good facilities for disabled people and good accessibility.

The Wychwood site is reasonably flat and compact so easy to get around for those with mobility difficulties - both the arena and the campsite are easy to traverse, with probably the highest step being the height of the curbs either side of the road which runs through the arena.

There is parking close to the box office for day visitors and the access from there is all hard standing. For weekenders there is the bonus of being able to drive on to the campsite to unload, make sure you let the stewards know you need to camp close to the entrance to the arena, so that you don't have far to return to your tent. Some areas of the campsite have reasonably long grass which might make wheelchair access difficult if damp, there are only a few patches which might get muddy in bad weather, and this is not deep. The campsite is a 100 metre walk away from the Festival Village over a proper walkway across the racecourse.

There are wheelchair/easy access toilets on both the campsite and the Festival Village. The festival has in the past supplied power to recharge wheelchairs or power essential equipment and reserved pitches on the campsite to ease access to the rest of the site or the facilities.

Anyone with any queries at all is recommended to telephone the festival on 01993 772580 or email info@wychwoodfestival.com in plenty of time to be able to organise your requirements.

The festival provides a 'Disabled 2 for 1 Weekend' ticket offer, dependent on being able to prove your status.

Also, see the general eFestivals' guide to what a disabled person can expect at festivals Guidance for disabled festival goers.
