They are still soundchecking when I realise the Exeter based band are on stage! Although not listed, the playlist has been moved about putting Australian Nuala on next. As usual the band play a great set, getting the growing crowds, up late on a Sunday (or roused by the sound of MSB) up and dancing. All positive energy and smiles the band start off simply before adding bass solos from Laura ‘Bass Bird’ Marshall, and being joined on stage by fiddler Lizzy Westcott. ‘Trouble With’ and ‘Daddy Please’ go down so well the band sell all their copies of their EP before they even finish their set and have a queue of people waiting for them when they come off stage. Great sunny music that makes you feel good.
