The reason many weren’t at the main stage was solved when I entered the rammed tent to see sitar virtuoso Anoushka in full flow, dizzying melodies, shimmering heat and a packed throng made this a heady experience. Slowly the mood of the music flowed and it really was entrancing. Gloriously complex and almost spiritual this was one of the most powerful moving sets of the weekend. Top stuff!
