Wolverton Manor, Shorwell provide the backdrop to the fourth Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair. The event will take place on Saturday 17th May 2014, raising money for Leukaemia Research and Brighstone School.

Line-up

The live music stage will provide a full programme, featuring the best of the Island's Folk & Blues musicians, from solo acoustic to full electric bands.

Bands confirmed for the Main Stage include The Dance Preachers, Second Time Around, MoonShiners, Cat Skellington, Laurie McVay & The High Rollers, Brighstone Barnacles and Last Orders.

New for 2014: The Beer Tent Acoustic Stage with some diverse acts including Paul Armfield, Nils Mason, All Washed Up, The Weatherkings, Damien Paul, JukeBox Jazz, David Thornton, Guith Singers and Doug Alldred.

Tickets

£6 in advance or £9 entry on gate. Children aged under 12 free. Advance tickets available from: The Village Shop, Brighstone, Shorwell Shop, Briddlesford Farm Shop, and Waterstone's bookshop, Newport.

The family friendly event will include tented cafes, serving an interesting variety of freshly cooked local produce. 

With an IW real ale beer tent, BBQ, Tea tent, children’s activities and Circus Skills, The Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair looks set to be a celebration of all that’s good about our Island’s local food & music talent. 

In aid of Leukaemia Research and Brighstone School.
