Waveform 2011

The environment is central to this eco-friendly event, with recycling and re-use policies alongside the predominantly Psy-dance music bill. Expect a full programme of talks, workshops, saunas, showers, healing, therapies and organic food.

Waveform, has moved dates and location this year it's held from Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th September 2011, describes itself as a 'unique dance gathering'. The new site is Greenway Farm, near Taunton, in Somerset.

Line-up

New for 2011 is The intergalactic spaceport is a creative, visual themed venue based on a spaceport from the near future. The art space will be used by DJs with a dance floor and lounge, and includes Reality Check in Desk, Departure Lounge, Mission Control, Emotional Baggage Claim, Customs Life Form Scanner, Stargate travellator, and Control Tower. Other areas include Waveform Psy Electronica, Cats Cradle, Eartheart, Gaia Chill, Kaplick Solar, WorldShift Arena,Quantum Healing Temple, and Ladybird Circus.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are no longer available. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £105, a child ticket (aged 5-15 years) is priced £27, live-in vehicles are £32.50, and car parking £16.50. To buy tickets, click here.

Green ethos

The event will be powered with renewable energy, have a site wide organic food policy and a number of waste reduction policies will be in place.

Transport

Waveform Festival encourages everyone attending the festival to use public transport or to lift share wherever possible. A major part of the environmental impact of Waveform is the transport of festival goers to and from the event.

Opening hours

The festival site opens at 10am on Friday and closes at noon on Monday.
