The 26th Wacken Open Air takes place in the small town of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany.

The festival will take place over 3 days from Thursday 30th July to Saturday 1st August 2015.

For the 10th year in a row tickets for this event have sold out, they sold out in just 12 hours.They were priced at 150 euro (approx £120).

Wacken is located 10 km north of Itzehoe and 50 km north/west of Hamburg.

Camping is available on several large camping grounds surrounding the festival arena.
