Southend's arts and music festival, Village Green, will return after a year off to Chalkwell Park on Saturday 13th July 2019, between 11am and 9pm.

Acts include Busted, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Snowboy & the Latin Section, Asylums, and more.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
adult: £20
teen (11-17): £15
child (10 and under): free but needs ticket

Family-friendly

Expect a Games Tent for kids and adults alike, with activities such as Poetry Bingo, Musical Flares and a massive pass the parcel that will involve forfeits! The festival will also see the return of the Teen Stage, curated by local teenagers working in partnership with South Essex College.

Accommodation

There is currently no dedicated camping, however there are campsites located in the borough of Southend. There are also a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
