The 18th Ullapool Guitar Festival takes place from Friday 6th until Sunday 8th October 2017 in the Macphail Centre at Ullapool in Scotland. With the Late night Festival club will take place in the Arch Inn West Shore Street Ullapool.

The Sunday afternoon will as usual be hosted in part by Prof Allan Neave with students and former students from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

The artists will be appearing in the 5 concerts over the weekend with workshops on the Saturday and Sunday mornings and a late night festival club hosted by Adam Bulley and Chas Mackenzie which starts at midnight and runs till about 3am.

The Festival also has a trade show which runs everyday of the festival and which allows acoustic guitar makers to show off and sell (at very reduced prices) some of their instruments.

2017 weekend tickets are priced at £150 and offers entry to all 5 concerts, 3 late night festival clubs and all workshops and master classes.

To make stewarding easier all concerts will require the ticket holder to wear/display a Festival wristband. Depending on availability, some individual concert tickets will go on sale in due course.

This year’s Festival Club will again take place in the downstairs bar at The Arch Inn. Weekend ticket holders have free entry to the Club. If you have a wristband from one of that day’s concerts, entry will cost £10 per person. If you have no wristband of any sort, entry to the club will cost £20 per person. (What greater incentive do you need to buy a weekend ticket?)

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in Ullapool which are all supporting the festival.
