This thriving major folk arts festival, returns to celebrate it's 55th year, returning for a 5th year to the fields at Thame Showground, Oxfordshire.
The dates for 2019 are confirmed as the Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 23rd to Monday 26th August.
Towersey has developed in the last few years from a very Folky event into a more eclectic festival with a fair amount of World and broader acoustic music, singer songwriters stage, poetry, street theatre etc.
Confirmed acts include From The Jam, Hothouse Flowers, Newton Faulkner, The Selecter, Seth Lakeman, The Unthanks, Catrin Finch & Seckou Keita, Steve Knightley, Elephant Sessions, Beans On Toast, Rusty Shackle, Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys, Old Man Luedecke, Nancy Kerr & James Fagan, and more.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
Adult £149 (camping £26 extra)
Youth (aged 12-17) £104 (camping £26 extra)
Child (aged 5-11) £65 (camping no extra)
Tickets for children aged under 5 are free - they must be ticketed.
Day tickets are not currently available.
