Surviving at T in the Park with no money is possible, but we certainly wouldn't recommend it. Many of the attractions cost extra money and the food and drink available at the festival is far more expensive than high street retail prices.
There are cash machines in the arena (but not in the campsite) but the queues are so bad you really should take enough money with you so you wouldn't have to use them. At lunchtime on the Sunday the wait time for the cash machine was well over an hour.
Always keep your money secure and make sure it is on you at all times.
