If you get the chance to have a wander around the T in the Park site youll realise theres more to the festival than just music. There are plenty of amusements to keep all members of the family happy but sadly they all involve spending out more of that hard earned cash.
Here are some of the amusements that make a regular appearance at T in the Park:
Sling Shot
Cost: £20
This is one of the more expensive rides and certainly one for the adrenaline junkies. Two brave festival goers get strapped into this cage like sphere that is then propelled upwards into the air by an industrial sized elastic band. It looks fairly similar to a medieval catapult. One not for the faint hearted.
Maze of Terror
Cost: £3
This isnt a ghost train (a point thats made clear to you before you enter) but a walk through maze of terror. I wont tell you whats inside as I wouldnt want to spoil any of those truly scary moments.
The Giant Wheel
Cost: £5
£5 gets you three turns of the Giant Wheel where you can see the entire festival site. The carriages seat about four people and are great to do if the weathers at its best. As with all the rides the queues can be a little long and during busy periods you may have to wait up to half an hour.
Bumper Cars Cost: £4
The traditional rides are here as well with lots of smaller fun fair style amusements including bumper cars.Like most of the rides though, they will still put a significant dent in your pocket.
