Fresh from their tour with Evanescence and a lively Download performance, Brit-metallers The Glitterati graced King Tut’s tent at T to a rather depleted crowd.

Since the early 90’s, most bands that have bought a Les Paul have wanted to be Slash. Powerful riffs and demanding solos are attempted and often bands just can’t cut the mustard. The Glitterati, however, don’t even try to be someone else – they stand out by themselves with a stage presence and sound that leaves you transfixed.

The Glitterati

As more and more people fill the tent, their faces visibly fill with glee as what started out as an empty tent has filled up to provide a crowd full of hands thrust in the air and cheering.

For those of you that like your riffs powerful and your songs intense – then it is a crime to miss The Glitterati. They are going to carry on hitting the music industry with all they’ve got so make sure you get the opportunity to watch them whilst you can still see the whites of their eyes in a small venue.
