Playing to an early Sunday crowd is never going to be easy. Everyone is tired, asleep and quite often hungover. This may explain why the crowd remain rather inanimate as Razorlight walk out on stage.

If 12 months ago you had asked most people, nobody would be able to name Razorlight – yet the story has changed. Just 12 months on and 2 weeks after the release of their debut album it is clear that indie quartet Razorlight are making big impressions.

There are times when vocals seem out of tune and the guitars may sometimes appear to fade out but that doesn’t stop the band finding the cure for Sunday-morning-festival-Syndrome.

Razorlight

As front man Johnny leaps off stage the standing and clapping means that the floor can actually be felt to vibrate as the crowd leap away the night before. Full of energy and bursting with enthusiasm – Razorlight are the perfect band for a Sunday morning in Balado.
