The second Parklife Festival will take place over two days at Platts Field Park, Manchester on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June 2011.

Line-up

Tickets

Early bird tickets have sold out. Day tickets, and weekend tickets priced at £58.50 for adults and children over the age of 16 years have sold out. Only Saturday VIP tickets are still available priced at £99. To buy tickets, click here.

Expect activities for the whole family including themed chill out zones, live interactive art, funfair, magicians, celebrity 5-a-side and a giant bouncy castle.

Performing arts

Parklife Weekender also offers live art and performance including the cabaret and busking stages with Anticx bringing a host of performers which make up an all new feature of the Parklife Weekender - the Roshambo show. The Anticx cabaret stage sees dance troupes, live music, comedy, spoken word and theatre.

The Hidden Wombs and The Tunnels of Love are in homage to the procreation process, don your sperm costume and head through giant passage ways to discover hidden parts of the festival site. The Rose Garden, featuring a large scale fabric art installation from Donna Jeves and the Elephant Collective offers festival goers a tranquil oasis.

The Parklife Market will be trading all weekend satisfying everyone's festival purchase needs.

Also popping up across the park will be giant novelty furniture plus a number of charity and campaign stalls. The Mad Ferret's Garden, houses the Truly Tremendous Treehouse stage presenting silent disco DJ talent. There's also Veg Out a chance to recline on giant vegetable seating in an area hosted by Electronic club night promoters Audio Farm.
