Summer Madness is an open air music event taking place at Carisbrooke Castle Fields on the Isle Of Wight (gates open 1pm) held on bank holiday Sunday 29th August headlined by British Mod legend, Paul Weller!

Line-up

Headliner Paul Weller, plus special guests The Coral, Brand New Heavies, Imelda May, The Bees, Saint Jude (Twisted Wheel have cancelled due to illness), and The Moons lined up throughout the day.

The event will offer a range of licensed bars, food outlets and merchandising stalls.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £40. Disabled tickets are the same price and include a free carer. No under 5s, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over 21. To buy tickets click here.

Accommodation

This is a non-camping, one day event, there are plenty of accommodation options on the island.

Getting there

Road Access: 1 1/4 miles SW of Newport. Follow signs for Carisbrooke village and then the castle.
Bus Access: Southern Vectis 6, 7, 11, 38 and the Medina Tour Open Top service from Newport, West Wight and Ventnor, all to within 1/4 mile.
Ferry Access: West Cowes 5 miles, East Cowes 6 miles (Red Funnel - 0870 444 8898); Fishbourne 6 miles, Ryde 8 miles, Yarmouth 9 miles Wightlink 0870 582 7744; Hovercraft Ryde 01983 811000).
Shuttle Bus: Will be running from Cowes Co Op to & from site, also Ryde Esplanade to and from site.
