Summer Madness is an open air music event taking place at Carisbrooke Castle Fields on the Isle Of Wight (gates open 3pm) held on bank holiday Sunday 30th August headlined by British Ska Pop legends, Madness!

Performing as part of their 30th Anniversary tour, Suggs and his merry men have promised a spectacular array of hits both old and new, and many support acts including Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Geno Washington & The Ram Jam Band, Gentleman's Dub Club, and Jerry Dammers (DJ set) lined up throughout the day.

The event will offer a range of licensed bars, food outlets and merchandising stalls.

Tickets are priced at £35. Disabled tickets are the same price and include a free carer. No under 5s, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over 21. To buy tickets click here.

This is a non-camping, one day event, there are plenty of accommodation options on the island.

Getting there
Road Access: 1 1/4 miles SW of Newport. Follow signs for Carisbrooke village and then the castle.
Bus Access: Southern Vectis 6, 7, 11, 38 and the Medina Tour Open Top service from Newport, West Wight and Ventnor, all to within 1/4 mile.
Ferry Access: West Cowes 5 miles, East Cowes 6 miles (Red Funnel - 0870 444 8898); Fishbourne 6 miles, Ryde 8 miles, Yarmouth 9 miles Wightlink 0870 582 7744; Hovercraft Ryde 01983 811000).
Shuttle Bus: Will be running from Cowes Co Op to & from site, also Ryde Esplanade to and from site.
