Formerly known as Woodworks, this festival takes place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3ed May 2015 on St Mary's School Field and aims to encourage the participation and enjoyment of folk arts, drawing on assistance from the local community.

Along with a UK-wide network of musicians, dancers, tutors and enthusiasts, opportunities are provided for people of all ages to come together to learn, listen, network, and enjoy live music.

Expect over 70 acts on 4 stages all under marquees  with bands, theatre companies, and other performance art groups appearing in an Arts Marquee, a couple of acoustic showcase sessions, and a comedy tent, acoustic marquee, rock tent and a bar tent with an open mic stage.

Workshops

A variety of workshops are usually on offer. There's also street performance, a festival market, hot and cold food, stand-up comedy, silent disco, live sessions popping up everywhere, a chill-out tent, artistic displays (including sculptures), craft and music stalls, plus children's activities.

Tickets are priced as follows:
Adult Day - £17
Adult Weekend - £29
Under 18s Day - £4.50
Under 18s Weekend - £9
Family Weekend (Two adults, two youths) - £67
Children aged four and under can attend for free.
 

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
