Formerly known as Woodworks, and now in it's 8th year, this festival aims to encourage the participation and enjoyment of folk arts, drawing on assistance from the local community. Along with a UK-wide network of musicians, dancers, tutors and enthusiasts, opportunities are provided for people of all ages to come together to learn, listen, network, and enjoy live music.

There is also a variety of workshops on offer, including guitar, percussion, dijeridoo and DJ skills plus street performances, a festival market, a Youth stage, Club tent, Green Stage, and children's activities at different venues around the town.

Concessionary tickets are available for children under 16 and the unwaged. Weekend tickets include admission to workshops, and evening concerts.
