Stockton Weekender will take place over two days this year on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th July 2014 at Stockton Riverside Park, and  will be fundraising in support of Teenage Cancer Trust.

Line-up

Latest additions are Chris Helme, Ichi, The Funk Collective, Holy Moly & the Crackers, The Approved, and Leddie and Smoggy.

These names add to a line-up that features Happy Mondays, Public Enemy, Shed Seven, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Reverend & The Makers, Peter Hook & The Light, The Amazing Snakeheads, Hyde & Beast, Laurel, Abel Raise the Cain, Avalanche Party, , Smoove & Turrell, Red Kite, Dark Bells, Gallery Circus, PALACE, The Sons of Bido Lito, By Toutatis, The Panoramic, Serinette, The Urban Voodoo Machine, Lee Nelson, The Suggestibles, The Gimme Gimmicks, Henry Priestman, Dinnernanny, Paul Liddell, Little Mirrors, Joe Solo, The Dead Indians, Cellar Door, High Tide 15:47, Kobadelta, Fleckt Pets and The Gares.

A group of students from Trinity Sixth Form, Middlesbrough and The Academy of Music, Gateshead are set to open the Wunderbar Tent as part of project Wunderkind, meaning child prodigy,a new initiative to nurture aspiration in the youth of the North East.

Tickets are priced at £45 for a weekend adult ticket and £75 with camping. Day tickets are priced at £32.50. A valid ticket is required for anyone aged 14 years or older; children under this age will be admitted free (up to 2 children per adult ticket holder) but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

An option to pay in instalments has been this year. Festival-goers can reserve their tickets with a £10 deposit (per ticket) and then pay the rest off as they can, as long as it's all paid for by 25th July.

Kids stuff

The children activity hub, The Kaleidoscope Tent returns filled to the brim with creative and fun activities for kids, big and small like drama, arts and magic. The tent offers the ideal break away for young festivalgoers to sample a range of arty and musical activities, as well as giant games and beanbags. 

Accommodation

This event does have camping and there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
