Maddy Prior's Stepping Stones Festival returns to the ruins of Kirklinton Hall, near Carlisle in the remote Scottish Borders in Cumbria on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June 2015.

Line-up

Hannah James and Tuulikki Bartosik, Michael Chapman & Bridget St. John, Mountain Firework Company, The Furrow Collective, Rura, Gypsy, The Mischa McPherson Trio, The Hefted (Maddy & Friends), Blackbeard’s Tea Party, Ian K Brown, Feckless Fuggle + the Fossils, Skinwalker, Oxbridge Singers, Stooshie, The Misdemeanours, and We Are Quasars. Expect three Folk/Rock music and dance concerts, plus open mic events and more.

Weekend tickets are priced at £50 per person (under 12s free) and teens aged 12-16s tickets are priced at £25 (plus handling charge if booking online).

Camping

Camping available on site at Kirklinton Hall for tents and campervans at £5 per person per night. No caravan hook-ups available. This will be in a flat field with only emergency lighting, porterloos and cold water. The site will be open from 4pm on Friday the 13th and campers must vacate the site by midday on Sunday 15th. No dogs are permitted on site. The nearest shops are at Longtown 4 miles away.

On site

Food will be provided by Halsford Farm and a combined team from Kirklinton Church and the Brampton Community Centre. Geltsdale Micro Brewery from Brampton are running the Bar. Whilst Kirklinton’s main performance area is roofed, because the Hall is a ruin the music will be audible to people wandering around in the grounds as well as to those sitting or standing under cover.

Getting there

Kirklinton Hall is on a minor road off the main Brampton to Longtown road.
Navigate onto the A6071 road from Brampton heading towards Longtown, then look out for the festival signs.
