Stamford Riverside Festival

last updated: Mon 4th Apr 2016

A free music and arts event held on the first Saturday in July in Lincolnshire. Hosting musical acts over multiple stages, the event attracts thousands of people. Located in a spectacular setting by the River Welland, framed by the backdrop of towers and spires of Stamford, the event forms the culmination of the Stamford Festival. There are also art exhibitions, sculpture, a dedicated children's marquee, fairground rides, a procession through the town, craft and trade stalls, a fireworks finale and the town's biggest and best beer festival.

The event was cancelled after bad weather in 2012, and it was decided it was too costly and unsustainable for the charity to continue to stage Riverside Festival

100% of the proceeds from each drink sold will go to Charity. 50% will be used by Riverside to pay for the staging of the Festival while the other 50% will go to support the work Bourne Round Table do with local charities.
