Split Festival 2009

The first Split Festival takes place on Sunday 4th October at Ashbrooke Sports Club, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. The event will be a true "Festival of Music" rather than a collection of gigs.

Headlining this year are The Futureheads, with support from Field Music, Beak, Frankie And The Heartstrings, and Sea Of Glass, plus North East Stand Up comedians, and more acts still to be announced.

Adult day tickets are priced at £19.50, under 8 are admitted free with a ticket playing adult. To buy tickets, click here.

Bands will start playing at 3.00 p.m. and the final set will be at 7.45 p.m. (The Futureheads) followed by fireworks.

It is hoped that it will become an annual event in Sunderland to support and promote local and regional musicality.
