Splendour is Nottingham's newest family friendly music festival, a two-dayer at Wollaton Park held on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July, and it is hoped it will become an annual event.

Artists confirmed for this event are Kate Nash, Paolo Nutini, The Charlatans, Rufus Wainwright, Tom Baxter, Lightspeed Champion, Ocean Colour Scene, Duke Special, House of Brothers, Liam Gerner, The Recovery, and Gabriella Cilmi with more acts still to be announced. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Local bands will get a taste of the festival experience as well, with The Recovery, and House Of Brothers already confirmed to play. Trent FM is running a competition for another city group to open the event.

Holders of Citycards - free to anyone living in the city - can get their day tickets for £15. Tickets are priced at £50 for a weekend ticket, or £25 for either day. Kids under 10 have free entry. To buy tickets, click here.

Splendour will also feature a second stage for acoustic acts and comedians, plus a fun fair, kids' area and stalls. There's no camping - the deer won't have it.

More information will be here when available.
