Now in it's 10th year, Southern Fried is Perth's Annual Festival of American Roots Music, held from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th July 2017 and will feature a line-up of Americana from home and abroad.
Held in Scotland's the Perth Concert Hall, The Salutation Hotel, and other venues in Perth & Kinross, Scotland, and all Southern Fried venues are entirely walk able from one to the other!
The headline shows will be an All-Star Chuck Berry Tribute and a celebration of Canadian Artists.
This year's line-up includes Nick Lowe, Loudon Wainwright III, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Andy Fairweather Low & The Hi Riders, Chuck Prophet & the Mission Express, Sam Outlaw, Jim Lauderdale, Doug Seegers, Rab Noakes, Angaleena Presley, Peter Bruntnell, Ags Connolly, Sean Taylor, Amythyst Kiah, Danni Nicholls, Jill Jackson and Rachel Harrington with many more to be announced.

Expect also workshops, late night clubs on Friday and Saturday, free outdoor stage, new daytime acoustic stage, workshops, open mic, kids events, BBQ and finger lickin' food for this super-sized slice of Americana with a warm Scottish flavour.
Perth has good road, rail, and air links, along with a choice of hotels, restaurants, bars and specialist shops there is plenty to keep festival goers occupied between gigs.
