Now in its fifth year, Southern Fried is Perth's Annual Festival of American Roots Music, held from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th July 2012 and will feature a blistering line-up of Americana from home and abroad.

Venues

Held in Scotland's newest major performance venue, the Perth Concert Hall, Perth Theatre, and other venues in Perth & Kinross, Scotland, and all Southern Fried venues are entirely walk able from one to the other!

Line-up

John Prine (solo), Johnny Cash: Songwriter, and The Dynamites featuring Charles Walker, plus an all-star line-up, Gretchen Peters, Darrell Scott, Ruthie Foster, Anais Mitchell, Carrie Rodriguez, Niki King and the Elements, Dick Gaughan, Jeb Loy Nichols, My Darling Clementine, Dean Owens, Lera Lynn, Bap Kennedy, Deer Lake, The Sunshine Delay, The City Sinners, Southern Fried Voices, plus more to be announced.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £75 for a big festival pass, allowing entry to all events. Individual events over the weekend are separately priced. Festival Passes are not available online. Perth has good road, rail, and air links, along with a choice of hotels, restaurants, bars and specialist shops there is plenty to keep festival goers occupied between gigs.
