Southbound is an Australian arts, camping and music festival taking place at the Sir Stewart Bovell Park in Busselton, in Western Australia. This year the event celebrates 10 years on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th January 2015. Busselton is located approximately 3 hours drive south of Perth, Western Australia, near the Margaret River wine region.
The line-up over four stages includes Alison Wonderland, Alt-J, Asgeir, Bluejuice, Cold War Kids, Damien Power, Daniel Townes, DMA’s, George Ezra, Glass Animals, Harley Breen, Jagwar Ma, Jamie XX, Joey Bada$$, John Butler Trio, Julian Casablancas+ The Voidz, Kim Churchill, Luke McGregor, Milky Chance, Movement, Remi, Robyn & Röyksopp, Run The Jewels, Safia, Salt N Pepa, SBTRKT, Spiderbait, Sticky Fingers, The Black Lips, The Kite String Tangle, The Presets, The Temper Trap, Tkay Maidza, Todd Terje, Tommy Dassalo, Tycho, Urzila Carlson, Vance Joy, and Wolf Alice.

There is a Green Fee of $3 added to every ticket sold. The Green Fee goes directly into purchasing carbon credits used in offsetting the carbon footprint of those patrons including travel to and from the event. The festival also recycles waste, as well as initiatives including composting, stall holder packaging policy, EcoBound education and awareness campaigns, and more EcoBound initiatives (yet to be announced). Festival organisers also match every Green Fee dollar with $2 of its own money, used to further offset carbon emissions. They also have a Tree-For-Ticket policy, where they purchase a tree for every ticket sold. In 2009 this led to 20,000 tree plantings across Western Australia.
There are good international transport links straight to Perth airport. If you are travelling from out of town to Busselton, buses will be organised to get you to the Festival. Bus tickets are limited and must be pre-purchased.
More information will be here when available.
