SOS 4.8 Music Festival, now in its 7th year, is a 48 hours non-stop event that incorporates music, contemporary art exhibitions, conferences and performances, and takes place across May bank holiday weekend, Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd May 2014. SOS 4.8 is a 20,000 capacity urban festival that takes place in city of Murcia, just 40 minutes drive from La Manga,in South East Spain.

Line-up

Latest additions are Pet Shop Boys, and The Kooks.

They join Damon Albarn, The Prodigy, Phoenix, East India Youth, El Mato A Un Policia Motorizado, Erol Alkan, Gold Panda, Is Tropical, Miss Caffeina, The Bloody Beetroots, The Strypes, and TEED (DJ Set), Belako, Fangoria, La Habitación Roja, Leon Benavente, Neuman, Pony Bravo, Smile, Triángulo De Amor Bizaro, Varry Brava, Za!, and Izal.

As in previous editions, the festival will also offer a space for Contemporary Art Exhibitions, Conferences and Workshops.

Getting there

This event does not include accommodation or camping. For those booking beach accommodation in La Manga we advise flying to Murcia airport (just 30 min bus ride to La Manga). Those planning to stay in Murcia city could fly to either airport, both about 40 minutes from the city.
