Slam Dunk Festival, now in its 8th year has expanded to a full 3 day touring festival. The new date in the Midlands will be a full version of the festival and will have the same acts and number of stages (seven) including outdoor stages as the Leeds & Hatfield sites.

Line-up

The latest additions are ITCH, Devil Sold His Soul, Gavin Butler (The Blackout), William Beckett (The Academy Is), Ace Enders (The Early November / I Can Make A Mess), Chas Palmer Williams (Lightyear), Class Of 92 (Matty from A Loss For Words), Sophomore (Alex From Decade), and Marc Halls (Hey Vanity).

Over 40 bands will play the three 5,000 capacity dates in May which will have seven stages of music this year, with the event running from 3pm until 11pm, with the aftershow again running till 3am.

Tickets are priced at £34 or £36 with aftershow. All shows are 14+ and aftershows 18+.

Bnds competition

This year there's a competition for 6 bands to play their local leg of SDF, to enter get your fans to vote for you by emailing competitions@slamdunkmusic.com, with your band name as the first word in the subject and a link to your Facebook page in the body.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
