Sat in a Field is a small family friendly non-profit festival. The site is near Cheddar, Somerset with a view of the Mendips in the background, taking place from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th August. 

The festival focuses on its fun and family friendly atmosphere, with the Sat in a Field team are committed to promoting local bands.

Line-up

Confirmed acts include From The Jam, Doctor and the Medics, Gaz Brookfield and The Company of Thieves, and many more.

This year sees the introduction of a new dance stage, The Foundry, with a mix of live acts and DJs from across the dance music spectrum.

Tickets

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
adult weekend with camping: £75
teen weekend with camping (13-17): £25
Child weekend with camping (0-12) : £5
car parking: £10
caravan : £20
campervan: £15
Sunday day tickets are also available.

The Fuzzy Monkey Children's Tent has acts & activities across the weekend, including Nutty Noah, Action Pussycat, Flotsam The Fools Circus Workshop, Big Mac & Cheese Silent Disco, disco with DJ Mandi, balloon modelling with Magic Jayne, African Pan Dance, face painting, hair braiding, bouncy castles, and various craft activities.

The event raises money for their chosen charities. The charities chosen for 2018 have not yet been announced yet.

The Festival venue is on the B3151 between Wedmore and Cheddar, turn up Lower Notlake Drove and 3/4 of the way up on the right is the Field.
