Ruisrock is one of Europe's oldest rock festivals and takes place annually on the picturesque island of Ruissalo, Turku, in Finland. The dates for the 47th edition are from Friday 8th, to Sunday 10th of July.

The festival has four large stages, and a few small ones. There are the usual kind of festival fare food, plus merchandise areas, stalls and stands etc.

Camping

Camping spaces must be booked beforehand in the official camping site of Ruisrock. There are also accommodation options available on the island, but they tend to get booked up quickly, so it is best to book early.

Getting there

Most festival goers go by train from Helsinki which has transport links to Europe. Turku does also have an airport with air links to Belgium, Denmark, and Poland.
